Welcome

The YTCA Foundation (YTCAF) welcomes you to our new and revised web site and hopes that you find the information here informative, interesting and hopefully answers your questions.  Our mission is to provide educational opportunities and to support medical research that benefits the health and quality of life of our beloved Yorkshire Terriers.  It is the Foundation's intent to provide you with information about Yorkshire Terrier health issues, health projects that the Foundation is funding (or has funded) and other health resources and links.  It is also the Foundation's intent to develop and communicate information regarding the health, care, breeding and quality of life of Yorkshire Terriers to Yorkie owners, breeders, and simultaneously to veterinarians.

The YTCAF is a non-profit charitable corporation that is run by a volunteer board with no administrative overhead expense.  The Foundation relies solely on donations in order to fund significant research.  If you would like to help, there are a variety of ways that you can.  You can make a memorial to remember a very special friend or special pet or you can honor someone or their accomplishments or just make a donation via our donor program.  You can:

  • Make a donation by check or money order, mailed to our Treasurer
  • Donate by using our Pay Pal donate button
  • Donate books, figurines, art, or other goods or services of value that YTCAF can auction at our yearly auctions
  • Support our various fund raising projects

Also if you have any questions or would like more information or have any suggestions for how we can improve our site, please do not hesitate to contact us with those suggestions.

Thank you for visiting our site; we hope you find it useful and informative.
